My first contact with it was the much talked-about video [see below], which features the three 'Fires - Ed, Edd and Jack - gambolling around on a beach with a load of tribal drummers. It's fun, but more than a little awkward. I think the intended effect was Vampire Weekendish preppy afrobeat chic; the results felt more like I was watching my dad being forced to munch Es and dance at gunpoint. Singer Ed MacFarlane said the band will test the samba sound on a linking single set to be released in between albums later this year.
MacFarlane wants the group’s new material to highlight their love of native South American music.

The band will also release their new single "Skeleton Boy" on 2nd March.

100 lucky fans will be able to see the band give an intimate performance at a top secret location in East London.
